The two leadership roles we are recruiting to will help us realise this vision in different but equally important ways:

The Executive Director Corporate Services will provide organisational leadership at the highest level, ensuring we have the systems, culture, governance and insight required to operate confidently, plan for the future and deliver services rooted in fairness and community insight. This role is central to how we operate as an organisation and how we respond to the evolving needs of the borough.

The Director of Economy, Regeneration and Investment will shape how Camden evolves as a place, guiding our approach to planning, regeneration, economic development and cultural investment. This role is key to ensuring that growth is inclusive, that opportunities are shared, and that the borough’s future is sustainable and grounded in the needs of its communities.

While the responsibilities of each post differ, the leadership qualities we value are consistent. We are seeking thoughtful, collaborative individuals who demonstrate sound judgement and a strong commitment to public service. Championing inclusive, distributed leadership, building a culture where colleagues feel empowered and valued, with compassion and cohesion. Leaders who can work confidently across complex issues, build productive partnerships and listen carefully to the voices of our communities.
